These markets are not renter-friendly markets based on the affordability to rent and cost of living. The markets are made of either large in-demand cities or expensive suburbs, villages, etc., showing two ends of a spectrum that make multifamily construction difficult. These markets do appeal to young professionals and couples with young kids, but individuals here are more likely to buy.
